The Simple Story of Simply Sliced Entertainment

In 2014, I was struggling with a recent breakup, the loss of my grandmother, and a lack of direction in my life. In an attempt to escape these challenges and meet new people, I decided to attend a music festival called TomorrowWorld in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. It was my first time attending an event of this scale, and I was excited to see some of the biggest DJs in the world as well as discover new artists. The weekend ended up being life-changing, and it inspired me to pursue a career as a DJ.

I've always loved the energy and excitement that DJs and artists bring to events, so I decided to apply to several companies in my area. Eventually, I found a Craigslist listing for a well-known entertainment company. Working with them, I learned everything there is to know about event planning and execution, including how to operate lighting, a photobooth, and of course, the DJ booth. However, my true passion lay in the DJ booth and after working almost every weekend for a year, I was promoted to Emcee. In this role, I was able to run the show. I learned to effectively prepare my clients and create some of the best moments of people's lives through my music and entertainment.

If you're interested in hearing more of my DJing skills, feel free to check out my Soundcloud Page. I upload a variety of dance music in a range of styles every month. I'm always looking for new ways to challenge myself and bring something fresh and exciting to my sets. Whether it's through incorporating new genres or experimenting with different mixes and transitions, I'm constantly striving to improve and evolve as a DJ. I hope you'll take a listen and let me know what you think!

I'm incredibly grateful to have a wonderful support system in my family, friends, and girlfriend. They have always been there for me and have supported me throughout this chapter in my life. Without their love and encouragement, I wouldn't be where I am today. I am constantly reminded of how lucky I am to have such wonderful people in my life.
